Into the Clouds

Over at Not So Modern Mom, KANH has a lovely Memorial Day tribute, written by our thirteen year old Daughter, Emily. She calls it, "Into the Clouds." A snippet:

There once was a town
in which an orphan girl lived
she had nothing for her own
she had nothing to give

No one liked her
she wasn't a part of the crowd
but it was her dream
to join the clouds

She wanted to grow up
nobody knew why
but when she turned eighteen
she wanted to fly

That's my girl! Check out the whole thing.
