Christian Carnival LXXXII...and "A Porn Star"

Better late than never....(although I'm not sure she'd agree...)

LAST week's Christian Carnival is up at In the Outer

Haven't had time to peruse the Carnival in detail yet, but in the process of navigating through In the Outer, I came across this remarkable, incredibly moving true story at And That Has Made All the Difference. It's in eight parts, but read through to the end (link is to part 1). You'll be sorry, but you won't be. You certainly won't be sorry that you read the whole thing. You'll understand once you've read it. Don't be turned off by the title.

I don't think I've ever read a better exposition of the idea the Christ is found in unlikely, even seemingly unlovable, places. A great blessing...and conviction.

Wow! I just finished reading Porn Star. I needed that. Just as I'm struggling with trying to box God up in my terms I'm reminded that he is so much bigger that any of us can even fathom. I am encouraged that I'm not the only one struggling with faith. Struggling with what kind of recommendation I am for Christ. I am reminded that faith is not in the struggle, but in the surrender to HIM. Not to the surrender of what others expect it to look like, how small is that? But in the surrender to His infinite wisdom. Thank you for sharing this story. It truely is a blessing. Natala and Marie's miracle has happened, just look at the comments left on Natala's blog.
